The VFS Bursary

On behalf of all its members, the VFS is proud to present The VFS Bursary.  This award of up to $250 is intended to help pay for the cost of attending either a fiddle/music camp, workshops, or other music instruction in 2008. 

There are three categories: Junior (12 and under), Senior (13 – 19) and Adult (20 and up).  If you are an enthusiastic dedicated musician, read on!

 

Eligibility Criteria:

1. * deadline for submission: April 15, 2008

2. * all levels are welcome to apply

3. * member in good standing with the Victoria Fiddle Society

4. * enthusiastic about improving their music technique and repertoire

5. * willing to provide a short written account of how they used the Bursary funds
   which will be posted on the VFS web site, and

6. * previous year’s winners are not eligible.
