2. A thought: dance is a place to play. (ECD, Contra, any
Ceilidh or Community or Barn dance.)
The Victoria Experimental Country Dance Party & Urban Barn Dance
was a fine place for folks to play, for dance, for a purpose, to
have fun and see other people have fun with the music.
Perhaps rather than be simply a Local Interest link, dancing
might be billed as a place to play.
While I expect that dance may again exist next summer in the
near future I may have a monthly Open Band/Open Caller Mic. Any
and all styles of Country/Country dance.
Everyone pays - just a wee bit, folks may practise or enjoy
dancing, playing, calling and do any or all of them in one
night. More info soon.
See Island Dance for more. Please feel free to circulate this.
I'd be interested in interest.

On Line Fiddle
Lessons with Kimberly Fraser.
Hi there, my name is Kimberley Fraser, and I'm a fiddler
from Cape Breton. I've just started a website that provides a
blog about learning fiddle music, as well as online fiddle
lessons, that I thought might be a relevant link for your
website. It would be wonderful if you listed it, since I know
there is a decent Cape Breton following in your area.
