AMAZING concert - BRILLIANT
day of workshops - FANTASTIC dance ... ! ... Next year will
be bigger and better than this year! We learned a lot about
what works and what we need to do to make it
better! But WOW we did a fantastic job planning this event
in such an incredibly short period of time. All the
instructors I had time to visit with were extremely happy
and would love to come back - they would love to see a
Fiddle Fest #2, Yea!!!!
To The Volunteers - THANK
YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ... !!!!!! ... An event like this,
no matter how big or small does not run smoothly or even at
all, if we didn't have you! We all worked well together, we
worked hard together and we had a blast doing it together.
We would love to have you back to help again. I believe
Marie will be hosting a "JOB WELL DONE" party and everyone
is invited - Look for details coming soon!

Who do I thank for the incredible Fiddle Festival? The weekend
was spectacular from beginning to end. How on earth can you
afford to bring such brilliant artist in to share their talents
at such a low cost to us? What an extraordinary gift. I am so
inspired. Thank you so much.

Just to say that I
thought the FiddleFest went brilliantly!!
Congratulations to all you amazing people who organized
it!
The concert was delightful---so spontaneous and
inclusive.
The day of workshops seemed to me to run very well
indeed from an organizational point of view, and
everyone was very happy to be there.
The food was excellent---I thought the organization of
all the food etc was a masterpiece---no long lineups,
good choices and really helpful and friendly providers!
The veggie lasagna was delicious, and such good coffee
and goodies available at frequent intervals!
And then to follow it with a great dance---everyone was
SO happy to be there! It amazed me that the
numbers seemed just about perfect at every stage!!
Again, congratulations to you all----what a resounding
success!!!

And a comment from a Fiddle
Fest participant who had a few suggestions for
improvement: It
was a great dance. Of course the women all end up
dancing together and the men sit on the sidelines. Maybe
the oral instructions are too much for their brains to
deal with each dance, who knows.
Not thrilled with the junk food highly processed foods
offered at the concession. People seemed to want protein
food at break in the morning so pizza for the morning
break might have worked. I'd think oatmeal cookies would
have been a better bet than some of the other stuff for
sale, including the cake that was left over at the end.
I think perhaps more people are into healthier
eating....so a food service provider that deals with
healthy food might be a good idea for next year.
The concert on Friday evening was good.
